Hello and a big WRIGHTSON & PLATT welcome to our new blog! Here is where we hope to tell you all the news from the world of W&P here at home in London and from all around the world.

As you may know, we got started with our business back in 1999 in old London town and have since expanded around the UK. In 2004 we acquired our first international partner when Anita Cowley joined us in Hong Kong. Karin Kimtis-Hood joined us in New York in 2010 and very shortly we are off to Los Angeles (via NYC) to train our new partners there. In the meantime our partner/owner and fellow director Gunnar Sachs joined us in 2009 from our new US office in Aspen, Colorado.

Times are exciting indeed and there is so much to tell you all. On Thursday this week Vicky Platt (Managing Director), Felicity Francis (Marketing Director) and myself, Denise Wrightson (Creative Director) are flying out to attend the first NY Baby Expo. There we will meet Karen, our East Coast Marketing Director and together we’ll run the show, talk to NY Mom’s and meet the press to talk about W&P’s plans for the US.

Whilst we’re there we hope to keep you informed of our progress (if we can manage to get to grips with the technology!) and any news we might think could be of interest. Speak soon!
